Dr. David E. Doyle

Dr. Doyle is a board certified pediatric dentist dedicated to the oral health of children and patients with special healthcare needs. He graduated from the College of Dentistry at the University of Oklahoma in 1987. After the required four years of dental school, Dr. Doyle completed an additional two years of specialized pediatric training at Oregon Health and Sciences University. This special training focused on the growth, development and psychology of children. Dr. Doyle has successfully treated children with a wide variety of dental problems, since 1990. In 1999 Dr. Doyle applied to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry for certification. After a long process of continuing education, office inspection, and practical examination, Dr. Doyle obtained diplomate status of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Doyle has worked as clinical educator, teaching under graduate dental students at Oregon Health and Sciences University, and has served as dental examiner for the Oregon Pediatric Dental Specialty Board.

In 1996 Dr. Doyle, served as president of both the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentists and the Clackamas County Dental Society.

Dr. Doyle maintains and exceeds the continuing education requirements of the Oregon State Board of Dentistry.

Dr. Eric E. Jacobsen

Dr. Jacobsen is a pediatric dentist who joined our office in July of 2008. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University in 2001. He spent two years in Honduras and became fluent in Spanish. After his time at BYU, Dr. Jacobsen enrolled in the world’s first dental school, The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland and graduated in 2006. After dental school, Dr. Jacobsen elected to obtain his specialty education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. While at one of the largest children’s hospitals in New York, he received extensive exposure to all aspects of pediatric dental care, including: prevention and anticipatory guidance, minor and major dental trauma, sedation techniques, interceptive orthodontics, oral pathology and dental rehabilitation in the operating room setting. Dr. Jacobsen served as chief resident and graduated in 2008.

Dr. Jacobsen, along with his wife and three children are excited to return home to Oregon.
